I began my role with the Tournament of Roses in December 2022 as a Marketing and Communications intern. Each year, the Rose Parade is held on the first Sunday of the new year in Pasadena, California.

I worked directly with Mandy Denaux and Candy Carlson, the Directors of Marketing and Communications of the marketing and communications team to assist during the height of the event. I assisted with the revamping of the website, crafting press releases and writing pieces, the parade script, organizing event logistics on Excel, assisting with event graphics, and capturing content for social media.

I attended all events leading up to the Rose Parade and oversaw media outlets including press conferences, strategic meetings, Floatfest, Equestfest, Decorating Places, the Rose Bowl Game, and the Rose Parade.
